The restaurant
The landscape and stunning views as you travel from the A-8 motorway, along the Bay of Biscay coastline, to Guriezo (Trebuesto) where the Posada Cantabria Restaurant is located in the SCI Río Agüera area, will really exceed your imagination. The building dating back 100 years has been recently refurbished and is located in a Protected Natural Area of Cantabria. Thanks to its splendour, the restaurant is known locally as «The Palace of Flavours”.
The stunning beauty of the natural landscape next to the beautiful River Agüera, with the babbling of that brook adding to the harmony and tranquillity of our delightful terrace-garden, particularly in summer. This makes it a real must for nature lovers. There is a welcoming ambiance inside with a bright and comfortable layout and even from the outside, you will sense that you are in for an unforgettable dining experience.
We seek to combine innovation and traditional cuisine, getting back to our roots, to showcase the flavour of our natural products. The range of dishes features local produce from the sea and land surrounding us, along with the Gloria desserts using the restaurant’s own recipes. We use top quality ingredients for our dishes and alongside our expertise, we wish to offer a different culinary experience at this “Palace of Flavours”.
